Getting married at the Wijngoed Montferland and DRU Ouhrlokaal in Ulft
Many couples marry abroad. Others manage to emulate the romance of getting married abroad on their wedding day, but just in our beautiful Netherlands. For example, the Achterhoek has beautiful vineyards where you can imagine yourself in the French Provence. One of those vineyards is Wijngoed Montferland. This particularly beautiful wedding location in the hills of Montferland and on farmland in the hamlet of Wals near Gendringen lends itself perfectly to an outdoor ceremony. So that is what this wedding couple, Paulien and Sander chose to do.
Pets are often a valuable part of the family and, of course, should not be missing the big day. Paulien and Sander’s dog, Aika, was allowed to support his owner in getting dressed. This couple even had the dog bring the rings.
After the ceremony, dinner was held in Italian atmospheres. The wedding party took place at the Ouhrlokaal in Ulft. This industrial location was the backdrop for an opening dance with yet another foreign touch. Paulien and Sander performed a spectacular salsa.
