Many couples choose to get married in nature. The rural, romantic setting of Pavilion Lutterzand is a perfect location to say yes.
Getting married at Pavilion Lutterzand
Anniek and René, the bride and groom of this reportage chose to get married in nature reserve the Lutterzand.
An important moment in a storytelling wedding shoot is the getting ready. Preparing for the big day is often an emotional and valuable part of the day. So too for Anniek. Her mother helped her put on her special wedding dress. That a wedding dress does not have to be standard, proves this beautiful and trendy front-short-back-length dress by Très Chic. Anniek’s hair and makeup were done by Studio Flexxup.
Nowadays, it is increasingly common for the groom to enlist the help of a hairdresser or barber as well to look good on his wedding day. It is convenient then that I work with a second shooter, allowing both the bride and groom to be captured at the beginning of the day. Usually the atmosphere at getting-ready with the groom is very relaxed, enjoying a beer or something to start the day festively. So did René, who drank the first shot of the day with his hairdresser Ivanka.
The advantage of documentary wedding photography is that all events are photographed as authentically and spontaneously as possible. All the emotions are then well portrayed. For example, during the always touching first-look. Anniek came out under the watchful eye of their loved ones to see her handsome groom in his wedding suit from Koopman Mode for the first time on this special day.
Anniek and René made sure to take a bright yellow American school bus from Actief Twente to their wedding location in Lutterzand along with the day’s guests. The atmosphere was right there together right away!
At Pavilion Lutterzand, you get married in nature, between lower stream valley grasslands and a vast, higher shifting sand area. Anniek and René were married half outdoors by a close friend. The beautiful rings were from Bodali Jewels. The Sugar House provided the sweet table.
Lutterzand is not only a beautiful wedding venue, but also a green and romantic backdrop for the photo shoot. Anniek and René had deliberately chosen documentary wedding photography, so that they could enjoy their day carefree, without being busy with the photography. So they wanted to get the party started right away and didn’t really have time for a photo shoot, but because Paviljoen Lutterzand is so beautifully situated, we were able to get some really cool photos in a very short time.
Inviting children to your wedding is, of course, a lot of fun. Children enjoy the beautiful clothes, festive atmosphere and delicious cake like no other. And how nice it is then when you arrange a bouncy castle like Anniek and René. Not just for the kids!
Food & Drink Club the Alderman is located in an old city hall with authentic look and trendy interior. During the evening party, everyone often goes wild. From such a sparkling wedding party, I take the coolest photos.
